"It was in San Giovanni Rotondo, on September 20, 1918, that Padre Pio received the stigmata that inflicted considerable suffering on him throughout his life. Made famous by his healing powers, he attracted many followers and was canonized in 2002. He received several apparitions of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died after celebrating the 50th anniversary of receiving his stigmata."

9:00 a.m.: Pilgrimage to the small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Graces, where Padre Pio used to celebrate Mass until the day it became too small to accommodate the crowd of faithful. Work began on building a new church, the current sanctuary of Saint Mary of Graces. It was in this church that Padre Pio celebrated his last Mass on September 22, 1968.

Discovery of symbolic places: the confessional, the crypt where the tomb of the Saint is located, the room of Padre Pio's personal effects, his cell, the crucifix of stigmatization.

This hospital was wanted by Padre Pio as a "place of Prayer and Science", where "the sick, the doctors and the priests would be reserves of love, which, the more abundant it was in a person, the more it would be communicated to others".
